Finalist Candidates for City Administrator

Jimmy Aguilera has held many positions throughout his public service career including Assistant to the City Manager of Victorville (CA), Assistant City Manager of and Planning Director for Loma Linda (CA) and City Manager for Adelanto (CA). He also brings an extensive background in planning as both a staff member and consultant. Jimmy has a Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne.

James Goodwin has over 24 years with Josephine County, with over 16 years of experience as a supervisor and manager with increasing responsibility. In his current role as the Juvenile Justice Director, he oversees a budget of over five million dollars that is allocated across six different programs. James obtained his Master of Business Administration from Northwest Christian University.

Krista Miller served as City Administrator/City Clerk with the City of Mitchell (OR) from 2021-2023.  In 2020 Krista opened her own business, a local coffee shop, serving the town of Mitchell. Prior to moving into public service, Krista spent almost 20 years in healthcare, working with hospice patients. In 2024, Krista is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix.
