Fire Season Ends in Jackson and Josephine County

JACKSON & JOSEPHINE COUNTIES, Ore. – Oregon Department of Forestry’s Southwest Oregon District says its 2023 wildfire season officially is done today.

It says after 134 days of fire season, Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) declared an end to the 2023 fire season in Jackson and Josephine Counties as of 9:00 a.m. today October 13.
